Woorayl Golf Club 29th January 2013
An evening with Simon Clarke at the Woorayl Golf Club on Tuesday night was a great success, with about 60 people in attendance. Simon spoke about his cycling career, giving insight into how he was selected to ride for Orica-GreenEDGE. He stressed the importance of his track riding and how it has helped him get to where he is today.

A successful event featured Simon Clarke from the Orica Green Edge Professional Cycling team, who shared his experiences of riding in the Tour de France. The gathering was well attended, with approximately 100 people listening intently to Simon’s insights.
“The Club is negotiating to have Tour de France rider Simon Clarke come to training on Wed Dec 11. Early in his racing career, Simon used to come along to the big Leongatha track carnival, so he should have some great tips for our keen juniors.” Lindsay
